Deburring

Stirlings' Deburring Machine provides a deburring finishing service on our in-house Laser cut Plate. 

Utilising a 1000mm wide abrasive belt with rotating abrasive roller brushes, our Deburring Machine provides deburring, surface sanding and edge rounding on Plate parts to 25mm thick. 

Laser cut Plate parts can now be supplied with slag-free sides top and bottom, as well as deburred, rounded and smooth surface finish on the bottom side.

Benefits include:

  • Faster finishing turn-around time, particularly for large quantities of smaller parts;

  • Safer handling of parts with no burrs or sharp edges;

  • Improved corrosion resistance;

  • Reduced fabricator preparation work;

  • Aesthetically superior finish.
