We are looking for a Full-Time - Logistics Manager/Specialist (Bibra Lake Warehouse).
The successful candidate will possess the following:
Advanced knowledge and understanding of business software.
Advanced analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
Advanced oral and written communication skills
Strong organisational & multitasking skills.
Demonstrated independent work initiative, sound judgement, diplomacy, analytical ability and professional demeanour.
Knowledge of Stainless & Performance Steel packaging & handling requirements
Experience in variable & nonstandard freight solutions
Advanced knowledge of Logistics & material handling.
Advanced knowledge in Occupational Health & Safety practices.
Proficient in Human Resource & People Management
Reporting to the Supply Manager, it is the responsibility of the Logistics Manager/Specialist:
Perform & execute Logistics & Customs Service Provider activities & planning.
Review Customs Compliance & Clearance competitive provision & performance.
Logistics – International - Transactional & Development
Delivering companywide efficiencies in logistics
Problem-solving international shipments and liaising with other departments.
Logistics organisation between Stirlings` Warehouses, Forwarders & Customers.
Identify & evaluate Supplier performance with recommendations.
Review Customs Compliance & Clearance competitive provision & performance.
Logistics – Interstate, intrastate & Metro Transactional & Development
Creation of practices & procedures.
Review Air, Sea, Rail & Road Transport competitive provision & performance between forwarders to establish preferred supplier lists.
Oversee, review & execute on logistical supplier agreements
Review internal distribution services for efficiencies, resourcing & development
Data Reporting & Recommendations
Development of new service providers.
Quality & Systems – Enhancements & Development
Divisional HR Management - Logistics
Divisional Support – Logistics & Projects, Indents & Contracts
