Documentation Administrator & Warehouse Operator - TAS

We are currently on the lookout for a Document Controller & Warehouse Operator for our Tasmanian-based Distribution Center. Successful candidates will require an LF Licence (Forklift) as a minimum, with an LO Licence (Stock Picker) as an added benefit, and previous administration experience in a heavy industry environment. If successful, you’ll join our growing operations team.

 What Are We Looking For? 

Our open hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This is a permanent Full-Time position with the opportunity for career development.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • Intermediate logistical skills

  • Intermediate IT skills – Computer literacy

  • Displayed level of prioritizing and organizational skills

  • Basic knowledge of purchase orders

  • Basic knowledge of import practice & documentation

  • Professional customer service

In addition, for this exciting and hands-on role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Knowledge & Experience in Warehousing

  • Knowledge & Experience in Warehousing Machinery (forklifts, side loaders, gantries etc)

  • Knowledge of care and handling of products.

  • Knowledge of warehousing procedures and functions.

  • Ability to work amongst and lead a team.

  • Experience and exposure within a heavily industrial trade 

 

The successful candidate will receive on-the-job training.
