Galvanised Backing Flanges, (a.k.a backing rings / backup plates), are Flanges made from mild steel and coated with a protective layer of zinc (galvanised) to resist corrosion.

Galvanised Backing Flanges are suitable for Composite Weld Neck Flanges.
